WHO AM I?

Hello, and welcome to benagosta.com! My name is Ben Agosta, and I am a videographer, photographer, graphic designer, podcast producer, and commercial drone operator based in Detroit, Michigan. Needless to say, I wear many hats!

In the past four years, I have shot, produced, and edited hundreds of videos, from video podcasts to company training videos and everything in between. In the realm of still photography, my expertise is real estate, but I have also done weddings, engagement photos, portrait photography and even some model photography. As mentioned, I am also a licensed commercial drone pilot, and have shot both video and still photo for dozens of real estate properties.

On top of my freelance video business, I am also the producer and creative director for The Spiro Avenue Show — a Detroit sports audio/video podcast — and The Original Gangsters Podcast, which covers current and past organized crime around the world. Both of these podcasts have generated millions of views and gained thousands of subscribers on YouTube.

During my time as a creative, I have been fortunate enough to produce and shoot interviews featuring professional athletes, esteemed authors, and popular social media personalities, and while I enjoy meeting high profile people, it’s not my favorite part of the job. I love what I do because I am an artist, and I love to create something that not only serves a purpose, but also brings emotion out of its viewers. Whether it’s a YouTube thumbnail or a wedding highlight reel, I enjoy using all of my abilities to create something worth seeing.
